Download software and configure console

 

 

Action Description
1 Download Programming Software Download and install the RA4200 programming software on a Windows computer. https://www.nortekcontrol.com/ftp/RA4200SetupV4190.exe

2 Connect 4200x console
  1. Connect the 4200x console to your Windows computer with a USB mini Type B cable.
  2. Connect the RA4200 with the Console by pressing the CONNECT button.
    See Section 12.1 of the Installation Manual for details.NOTE:  If the STMicroelectronics COM port does not exist on your computer, you can download the virtual COM port driver at https://www.st.com/en/development-tools/stsw-stm32102.html.
3 Select Console Type Click on “Toolbox” in top navigation, select “Select PERS console Type,” then select “PERS-4200X.”   See Section 11.1 of the Installation Manual for details.
4 Configure “Console” tab Each PERS-4200x will need to be configured to be operational.

5 Configure “Communicator” tab See Section 11.6 of the Installation Manual for details on how to configure this section.

6 Write the configuration into the 4200x Console
  1. Press SET CONSOLE. This will send the template to the Console.
  2. Press DISCONNECT. This will disconnect the RA4200 from the Console.
  3. Remove the USB cable from the Console.
  4. Turn off your 4200X console to complete.
